“We must once again commend the interpreters for the quality of their interpretation\u2014not only from French to English but also, this time, from Italian to French and English<\/a>. The task was sometimes particularly challenging, as some speakers were not native French speakers and (in some cases) had very strong accents.

The conference topics\u2014ranging from puppet theater, writing, and visual arts to archives and digital humanities\u2014were both highly varied and specialized. The numerous artists present sometimes posed a challenge for the interpreters with their unique approaches… It was a difficult task, but the interpreters accomplished it brilliantly.

This second PuppetPlays symposium was thus able to be streamed live on Zoom<\/a>, reaching an international audience as required by our funder, the European Research Council of the European Union, under the Horizon 2020 program.

Our software is an AI cancer diagnostic tool, so there was a lot of medical and software terms that would be used in the training sessions.
